Melrose Place (2009 TV series)

Melrose Place is an American television drama series broadcast on The CW Television Network from September 8, 2009 to April 13, 2010. The series was a remake of the 1992 Fox TV series of the same name and part of the Beverly Hills, 90210 franchise. The show follows the lives of a group of young adults living at the fictitious Melrose Place apartment complex in West Hollywood, California Smallville producers Todd Slavkin and Darren Swimmer wereshow runners of the series.

The series premiered on Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at 9:00pm and was met with mixed-to-poor reviews from critics and lower than expected Nielson Ratings. For the 2009-2010 Broadcast year, the series finished at number #138 out of all #140 Primetime network series, and was cancelled after the first season.

Still freaked out by the recent murder, the Melrose Place tenants try to resume some sense of a normal life. Ella learns from her new boss, Caleb, that her job could be in jeopardy due to a recent merger unless she brings in a huge client. Ella then forces David to take her to a Brentwood party, where she hopes to land a big actor client, Jasper. Still in desperate need of tuition money, Lauren agrees to go out on another date in exchange for money, but inadvertently winds up at the same party as David and Ella. Detective Rodriguez questions Auggie, who flashes back to when he first met Sydney in AA. Riley and Jonah view surveillance video of Violet acting oddly and begin to think she’s hiding something.
